Use this calculator to determine the wingload of a R/C plane. Don’t blame or praise me for this Javascript. I didn’t come up with it, found it at www.csd.net/~cgadd/eflight

Formulas used:

Wing Loading, Imperial
Loading (oz/sq.ft) = Weight(oz) / ( Wingspan(in) * Wing Chord(in) / 144 )

Wing Loading, Metric
Loading (g/sq.dm) = Weight(g) / ( Wingspan(mm) * Wing Chord(mm) / 10000 )
